HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE 2009 MIGHTY KIDS TRIATHLON?

Registration consists of 3 steps:

  1. Join USA Triathlon (USAT). See USAT MEMBERSHIP here for more information.

  2. Complete the 2009 Mighty Kids Triathlon Entry Form.

  3. Read and sign the USAT waiver.

REGISTER ONLINE at ACTIVE.COM. By registering on Active.com you can complete all 3 registration steps. Important: Be sure to bring your USAT membership card when you pick up your packet!!!


REGISTER BY MAIL:
  • Join USAT and get a USAT number.

  • Complete the 2009 Mighty Kids Triathlon Entry Form.

  • Read and sign the USAT waiver attached to the 2009 Mighty Kids Triathlon Entry Form.

  • Mail the 2009 Mighty Kids Triathlon Entry Form, the signed waiver, and the appropriate entry fee to the address listed on the entry form.


    • Important: Be sure to bring your USAT membership card when you pick up your packet!!!

REGISTER ON RACE DAY:
We recommend that you register well in advance of race day, as the race registration will close when the number of participants reaches 250. Pre-registration is also less expensive and makes for a less hectic race morning. However, if you must register on raceday please arrive when the park opens at 8:00 am to allow enough time. You will be required to purchase a 1-day USAT race license in order to race. The 2009 Mighty Kids Triathlon Entry Form and the USAT 1-Day License and Waiver forms will be provided at the race site or may be printed and filled-out ahead of time. For youths, the cost of a 1-day license is identical to an annual USAT membership: $5.
  • Registration fees will increase by $5 on race day.

  • Race-day registration will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

  • Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Signs will direct you to the registration table.

HOW DO I GET TO THE RACE?
Directions to Rocky Neck State Park: Exit 72 off I-95: Follow the turnpike connector south to Route 156. Turn left and take Route 156 east for 1/4 mile to the park. The park street address is 244 West Main Street (Route 156). Once inside the park, follow the signs to the beach.
